Audrey Fox Says Don’t Forget: Plus One

Audrey Fox Says Don’t Forget: Plus One

Starring Jack Quaid (son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid) and Maya Erskine, Plus One is a charming romantic comedy that has flown under the radar of many audiences but should be watched by all fans of the genre. Ben and Alice are the sort of old friends from college that have, for some reason, never crossed the line from friends to romantic partners, despite having incredible chemistry. But when they make a pact to be each other’s plus ones over the course of one chaotic wedding season, the sparks can’t help but fly.

Plus One has some serious When Harry Met Sally… vibes, as the couple navigate their long-standing but increasingly complicated relationship, trying desperately to not let sex get in the way of the genuinely great rapport they have with one another. The story is a familiar enough trope in the rom com genre, but Plus One is elevated by the charm and likability of its two leads and the natural comedy that develops between them.
